White Knight
- What does the audience mean when it talks about ‘coming to terms with a character’?
- The characters’ contradictions must be reconciled, to be believable.
- In any situation, if you are making a character do something, ask yourself this – “Would you have done the same?”
- Time must be represented well…
- Build the character well enough, so that what he/she does during the climax is perfectly believable. Shouldn’t show a new trait during the climax.
- Characters must cover their bases: they must have thought about ‘all possible alternatives’ before acting in one particular way…
- What is ‘jubilee hall’?
- Direction Tip: if a set of lines are very drty, and would be better if they are placed into context cleverly, then use not-so-obvious placement for certain lines. For instance, if a conversation set nowhere in particular between a husband an a wife seems weird, and at the same time, the intimacy between the two has not been well-established,then you may want to make them have that conversation while in bed!
- ‘Importance of being Earnest’ Wild Rice production… ?
